My name is Mahsan and I’m the founder, designer and maker of Malas by Mahsan as well as certified yoga instructor and an Electrical Engineer. I’ve been designing jewelery since 2003, but not until recently I wanted to connect my creativity with the energies of precious stones, yoga and my inspirer, Rumi - the poet. So the idea of making malas was born, Malas by Mahsan, a small business in Helsinki, Finland, where I’ve been living for the past 8 years.
I am inspired by Rumi’s poems and the cosmos, crystals and gems. I have a deep love and appreciation for old traditions, ancient rituals, and practices that promote self care & spiritual growth. I believe in forming a deep connection with life’s natural cycles and honoring the gifts life provides us with to live joyful, healthy and balanced lives.
Each and every piece is designed with care, handmade by me, threaded with love and cleansed in moon light with the intention of enhancing your inner and outer beauty and to remind you of the true magic within you.

Every Mala piece is made of great quality natural gemstones, wooden and lava beads. A lot of pieces can be used as diffiusers too, by adding essential oils to the diffuser pieces added to your piece and you can carry the scent of your liking, with you. You won’t find a sea of mass produced products. There are one-of-a-kind Mala jewelry that you won't find everywhere, with the intention of making your days more vibrant and meaningful.
You will receive your mala in a linen pouch along with detailed explanation about every gemstones’ properties used in your piece as well as care and cleansing instructions. Each piece comes with a stamped logo made of stainless steel.
